firm1Corsiglia, Mc Mahon and Allard, LLP ("CMA") was created by its founders Brad Corsiglia, Tim McMahon and Bob Allard in October 2006 in order to establish a law firm whose primary focus was to assist those who have been seriously injured as a result of the fault of others. All three partners bring extensive experience and unparallled success in conjunction with the representation of injured victims.

From 1988 to 2006, Brad was associated with Saucedo and Corsiglia, a firm originally formed in 1976. Saucedo and Corsiglia and was regarded as one of the very best personal injury firms in California. Its founder Norm Saucedo, who remains with CMA in an "of counsel" capacity, has been consistently recognized as one of the top 100 personal injury attorneys in the United States and is a member of many prestigious trial lawyer organizations, including the Inner Circle of Advocates, an organization limited to 100 of the best plaintiff lawyers in America. He is also a member of the American College of Trial Lawyers, a professional association of skilled and experienced trial attorneys dedicated to maintaining and improving the standards of trial practice. Further, he is a member of the American Board of Trial Advocates (ABOTA) and is one of only 60 California plaintiff attorneys listed in the "Best Lawyers in America." Having worked closely with Norm for over 20 years, Brad learned from one of the best and is now widely thought of within the legal community to be the premiere medical negligence lawyer in Northern California.

Tim, who began his legal career with Popelka Allard in 1984, learned his trade from Bernie Allard working on behalf of Ford Motor Company, Southern Pacific Rairoad and Aetna Insurance Company. Having mastered the strategies of the defense while trying cases for Ford, Aetna and many individual defendants, Tim began representing injured victims and quickly established a reputation as a skillful and tenacious trial attorney with verdicts, judgments and settlements that are among the largest in the state. In 2006 Tim was admitted into the American Board of Trial Advocates (ABOTA), an "invitation only" organization which recognizes the top trial attorneys in the country. Tim also has a unique background as a trial attorney, having obtained a degree in Pharmacology with High Honors at UC Santa Barbara and, following graduation, worked at a research hospital studying the causes of Diabetes as well as the effects of toxins on the human body. He is able to use his education and research in the medical sciences to his advantage in the courtroom, where complex medical issues are common.

Bob has represented plaintiffs in personal injury cases since he became an attorney in 1994. He served on the Board of Governors for the Santa Clara County Trial Lawyers Association for 5 years, the last as its President in 2006. He lectures annually in the field of personal injury litigation in seminars entitled "Personal Injury Settlements" and "How to Litigate Your First Civil Trial". Bob has recovered millions of dollars for his clients over the years in both settlements and, when necessary, jury verdicts. On this latter point, he has enjoyed great success in the courtroom, including a $3.1 million dollar verdict in 2007 (when the insurance company offered only $328,000) and a $900,000 verdict in 2008 (when the offer from the carrier was about one half of that amount). One of the major national legal organizations entitled Martindale-Hubbell has bestowed Mr. Allard with an "AV" rating, which is achievable only after admission to the bar for at least 10 years and indicative of the highest level of legal ability and ethics, this award is commonly referred to as "The pinnacle of professional excellence". In June of 2007, Bob received an "Award of Meritorious Service" from the Consumer Attorneys of California for "fighting against injustice by providing outstanding legal representation and service" on behalf of his clients. Later that year, in December of 2007, Mr. Allard was awarded the Santa Clara County Trial Lawyer of the Year in recognition for the results that he had obtained in the courtroom on behalf of his clients.

Joining the partners and the "of counsel" attorneys is associate Mark Sigala. Mark has been working with Bob and Tim since May 2000. While working, he completed law school and was admitted to the California State Bar in 2004. He is a member of the Santa Clara County Bar Association, Santa Clara County Trial Lawyers, San Francisco County Trial Lawyers and Consumer Attorneys of California. In 2006, Mark was elected to the Board of Governors for the Santa Clara County Trial Lawyers Association. Mark is fluent in Spanish and regularly contributes his time and energies to the Hispanic Community.

Our support staff consists of a legal nurse consultant who has worked for Saucedo & Corsiglia, and CMA for more than 20 years. We have a dedicated staff including a law school student, legal assistant, secretaries and administrative assistants with over 80 years of experience. We have made sure that the level of expertise and dedication to clients of our support staff matches our own commitment.
