B. ROBERT ALLARD has been practicing law in Santa Clara County since January of 1994. He graduated from the University of Notre Dame in 1991, with a Bachelor of Arts degree. In 1994, Mr. Allard obtained his Juris Doctorate degree from the University of San Francisco. His practice is focused on civil litigation, with an emphasis on personal Injury, wrongful death and products liability. He also has experience in medical malpractice, intentional torts, and contract law. Bob Allard has served as President for the Santa Clara County Trial Lawyers Association (2006) and, prior to that, served on its Board of Governors (2001-2005). He lectures in the area of civil litigation for seminars entitled "Personal Injury Settlements in California" and "How to Litigate Your First Civil Trial in California," Bob has received awards for his outstanding service in the legal community, including an "Award of Meritorious Service" from the Consumer Attorneys of California and an AV Peer Review Rating* (the highest) from Martindale-Hubbell. He also actively provides pro bono work for entities such as the Pro Bono Project in San Jose, California. In December of 2007, the Santa Clara County Trial Lawyers Association ("SCCTLA") named Mr. Allard the Trial Attorney of the Year for 2007 for his success in the courtroom.
